Matthew Baranchak double and singled and also tossed a three-hitter to lead the Butler Township 11-and-12 year-old team to a 5-4 win over Warren in the Section II semifinals in Saegertown Friday afternoon.

The win keeps Butler Township alive in the tournament after it lost to Grove City 13-9 Thursday night.

Spencer Murray singled twice and David Tompkins, Dante Dorsey and Chris Cotton each singled for Butler Township, which will play Grove Cityat 4 p.m. Saturday inSaegertown needing a win to force a winner-take-all game against Grove City on Sunday.

That game, if needed, will start at 2 p.m. inSaegertown.
