Joseph P. Stewart

Joseph P. Stewart, 40, of 134 S. Main St. died Wednesday at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh as a result of injuries received from a brush fire accident on June 10 near West Sunbury.

Born April 16, 1966, in Butler, he was a son of the late Paul A. and Bertha B. (Stewart) Stewart.

He was a Protestant.

Surviving are seven brothers, Edward, Jack, Tom and Ralph Reges, all of Butler, Fred Keagle of Florida, Bill Reges of Eau Claire and Albert Reges of Clarion; six sisters, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Kaiser, Mrs. Andy (Diane) Skunda, Mrs. Harry (Kathy) Reinhart and his twin sister: Joy Carothers, all of Butler and Tammy Sloan and Mrs. Gene (Mary) Harding, both of Kentucky.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

<B>STEWART </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Joseph P. Stewart, who died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with his brother-in-law, the Rev. Gene Harding, officiating. Burial will follow at the New Salem Cemetery, Annisville, Washington Township.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
