PITTSBURGH — Connor James, a right wing who made his NHL debut last season with the Los Angeles Kings, signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday.The 23-year-old James had 17 goals and 25 assists in 77 games with Manchester of the AHL. He was scoreless in two games with the Kings.James had 150 points, including 57 goals, in 160 games at the University of Denver. He played on the school's 2004 NCAA championship team.
ASHBURN, Va. — Washington Redskins rookie offensive lineman Kili Lefotu was found unconscious in his room and was undergoing tests at a hospital.Coaches became concerned when Lefotu failed to show up for the team's 7 p.m. practice. He was found unresponsive and called emergency services to take Lefotu to a hospital.Coach Joe Gibbs said Lefotu appeared to be doing better, but doctors had yet to diagnose what happened.
