Jane Cogley

Mrs. Jane Cogley, 75, of 431 Old Route 8 South, Titusville, died Thursday afternoon at Beverly Healthcare in Titusville.

Mrs. Cogley was born on July 25, 1930, in Brackenridge, a daughter of Carmel and Beulah Higbee Van Vorst. She married Donald A. Cogley on June 17, 1950, in Tarentum.

Mrs. Cogley was a graduate of the former Har-Brac High School, Class of 1948, and had attended Robert Morris College.

She was a member of the Titusville First United Methodist Church, where she was active as a choir member, small group leader and Sunday school teacher. She was a member of the Titusville Garden Club and former member of the Titusville Womens Club. She had been a volunteer for many charities.

She is survived by her husband of Titusville; three children, Dawnene Monahan of Dubois, Ben Cogley of Pittsburgh, and Van Cogley of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

<B>COGLEY </B>— Friends of Jane Cogley, who died Thursday, July 13, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home,</B> 303 N. Washington St., Titusville.The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Titusville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Blair, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Titusville.Memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 302 W. Walnut St., Titusville, PA 16354 or to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
