Jeannette Crockett

Jeannette Louise Crockett, 82, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Holyoke, Mass., died Monday at UPMC Passavant hospital, Cranberry Township.

Born March 27, 1924, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Paul and Marie Greff Herda.

She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Holyoke.

Surviving are her children, Sharon Basehore and her husband, Gary, of Renfrew, Russell Crockett of Alaska, Jeanne-Marie Crockett and her husband, Patrick Alarid, of Santa Fe, N.M., David Crockett of Palm Coast, Fla., and Robert Crockett III and his wife, Jane, of Cloudcroft, N.M.; and grandchildren, Reece, Derek and Evan Basehore of Pennsylvania, Kory, Kris and Keith Crockett of Florida; and a great-granddaughter, Kaylee Crockett. She also had many cousins, family and friends who always had a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Crockett Jr.; a son, Ronald; and a brother, Paul Herda Jr.

<B>CROCKETT </B>— Friends of Jeannette Louise Crockett, who died Monday, July 17, 2006, will be received from noon to 1 p. m. Friday at the <B>Evans Chapel of Memories,</B> Parkville, 8800 Harford Road, Baltimore. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkwood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tucson, Arizona area or Butler area public libraries.
