DeCorte

Brenda D. DeCorte, 63, of Sanibel, Fla., formerly of Kaylor, Pa., Cleveland, Ohio, and Seybertown, Pa., died Tuesday at the Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Fla.

Born Nov. 29, 1942, in Bruin, she was the daughter of Clarence D. and Velma A. Lynch Foringer.

She was a 1960 graduate of East Brady High School; and she and her late husband established Lake Plaza Custom Homes in Sanibel, a custom residential development company specializing in home building. She was also a homemaker, bookkeeper and entrepreneur.

Mrs. DeCorte was a member of St. Isabel Roman Catholic Church of Sanibel and St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church of East Brady.

She was a talented crafter and a miniatures enthusiast.

Always placing her family first, she was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Her husband, John L. "Jack" DeCorte, whom she married Oct. 22, 1960, at the St. Eusebius Church, died March 13, 2004.

Surviving are four sons, Donald P. DeCorte and his wife, Jacqueline, of Pittsburgh, John D. DeCorte and his wife, Christine, of Lakewood, Ohio, and Ronald E. DeCorte and his wife, Jennifer, and Michael F. DeCorte and his wife, Kelly, all of Cape Coral; a daughter, Jacqueline L. Unger of Twinsburg, Ohio; and a brother, Edwin Foringer and his wife, Nyoka, of Sugarcreek Township. She also is survived by 16 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

<B>DECORTE</B> — Friends of Brenda D. DeCorte, who died Tuesday, July 18, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eusebius Church, East Brady, with the Rev. William Kuba officiating. Burial will be at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.A parish prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
