Hazel E. Grossman

Hazel E. Grossman, 91, of Grove City, formerly of Harrisville, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday at Grove City Medical Center.

Born Aug. 25, 1914, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Lewis P. and Mary Brown Twentier.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Grove City.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Wendell (Mary) Watson and Mrs. Mae Allison, both of Slippery Rock, Mrs. Gary (Lucille) Heeter and Mrs. Jay (Barbara) Bicehouse, both of Harrisville, and Mrs. Kenneth (Genevieve) Stitt of Mercer; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Styers of Butler and Mrs. Daniel (Mildred) McDeavitt of Slippery Rock; and a brother, Clyde Twentier of Butler.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Mrs. James (Debbie) Neyman, Mrs. Dan (Patti) Pink, Mrs. Ron (Cindy) Taggart, Rick Allsion and his wife Becky, Mrs. Carl (Brenda) Shilling, Bill Heeter and his wife Denise, Gary Earl Heeter, Kenneth Stitt Jr. and his wife Laura, Timothy Stitt and his wife, Marion, Mrs. Keith (Melinda) Lenkner and Mrs. Mel (Denise) McCleary; 19 great-grandchildren, Stacie Sespico, Shannon Bolibruck, Travis Taggart, Jessica and Jimmy McConnell, Jared McFadden, Jacob and Alex Shilling, Abraham and Abigal Allison, Susanne Vozar, Sara Heeter, Madeline and Mitchell McCleary, Chloe and Will Lenkner and Summer, Ashley and Sami Stitt; and five great-great-grandchildren, Emily, Nate, Noah and Joey Sespico and Eli Bolibruck.

Her husband, Earl "Mossie" Grossman, died April 8, 1993. A daughter, Ruth Jean Grossman; a great-granddaughter, Skylar Stitt; a sister, Irene Space; two brothers, Kenneth and Floyd Twentier; and a son-in-law, Lee Allison, also preceded her in death.

<B>GROSSMAN </B>— Friends of Hazel E. Grossman, who died Thursday, July 27, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Shaughness, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Muddycreek Cemetery, Clay Township.
