Robert 'Whiskers' Pisor Sr.

Robert L. "Whiskers" Pisor Sr., 63, of Hilliards, formerly of Harrisville, died at 8:20 a.m. Sunday at Trinity Living Center in Grove City following a lengthy illness.

Born May 12, 1943, in Clarion County, he was the son of the late David Plummer Pisor and Margaret Nancy Donaldson Pisor.

He was a Protestant. He had been employed at Sunbeam Coal Co. and Horewitz. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he was a member of the Valley Dam Sportsman Snowmobile Association.

He is survived by his companion, Marie Fife Maines of Hilliards; three daughters and their spouses, Cindy and Gregory Shreve of Harrisville, Melissa and Brian Shreve of Parker and Virginia and Joseph Everetts of Parker; two sons and their spouses, Robert L. "Jake" and Connie Pisor Jr. of New Castle and Daniel A. and Sandy Pisor of Harrisville.

Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Geraldine "Geri") Claypoole of Petrolia and Mrs. Charlie (Lela) Ealy of Parker Pike; and three brothers, Burt P. Pisor of Bruin, Floyd D. Pisor of Grove City and Richard H. "Dick" Pisor of Harrisville.

He was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter, a sister and five brothers.

<B>PISOR</B> — Friends of Robert L. "Whiskers" Pisor Sr., who died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert V. Mathias of the Concord and North Washington Presbyterian churches officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
