Gladys P. Truver, 88, of Middlesex Township died Saturday morning at Shelbourne Assisted Living in Penn Township.

Born in Butler, Sept. 6, 1917, she was the daughter of Andrew J. and Effie Morrow Lisman.

She retired as a toll collector for the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Allegheny Valley exit.

Mrs. Truver was a 76-year member and former deacon at the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church in Middlesex Township, where she also taught Sunday school. She was a charter member of the Southern Butler County Women's Club and belonged to the Royal Grange, the Bakerstown Golden Agers and the National and Mars AARP.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. W. Donald (Virginia "VA") Crummy of Middlesex Township, and many nieces and nephews.

Her husband, William D. Truver, whom she married Sept. 7, 1946, died Aug. 21, 1986. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary K. Stone, Dorothy Lisman and Hazel Wilson, and two brothers, Andrew and Charles Lisman.

<B>TRUVER </B>— Friends of Gladys P. Truver, who died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Greg Wiest officiating. Everyone is to meet at the church. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler Community Meals on Wheels, c/o Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, PA 16059; or to the Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, PA 16059.
