Richard K. Kennedy

Richard K. Kennedy, 72, of Connoquenessing died Tuesday morning at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.

Born May 24, 1934, in Butler, he was the son of Kenneth J. and Lois Stewart Kennedy.

He lived in the Butler area his entire life and retired as a crane operator at Armco-Butler Works after 40 years.

Mr. Kennedy served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He was a member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church.

He was an avid motorcycle rider and belonged to the The Retreads and HOG. He also was a member of the American Legion and the International Association of Turtles.

Surviving are two daughters, JackieLee Wimer and her husband, John, of Adrian and Arondia Marie Price of Gibsonia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He also is survived by four sisters and a brother, Mary Louise Regan of Palm Coast, Fla., and Sally Kraustok, Shirley Hillard, Nancy Crick and Robert Kennedy, all of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
