Anna R. Congilio

Ann R. Panza Congilio, 76, of Saxonburg died Thursday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Oct. 14, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Francesco and Maria Caligiuri Panza.

She was a longtime member of the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Glade Mills and the Saxonburg VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Congilio was a pro-life advocate.

Surviving are her children, Katherine E. Cunningham of Sharpsburg, James R. Congilio of Slippery Rock and Victoria J. Scott of Florida, and a sister, Amelia R. Panza of Sharpsburg. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Congilio; four brothers; a sister, and a granddaughter.

<B>CONGILIO </B>— Friends of Ann R. Panza Congilio, who died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, Old Route 8, Glade Mills, with the Rev. Daniel Mauer officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Sharps Hill.The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Sepulcher Church Building Fund, 1304 E.
