Thursday — Thomas Stevenson said someone overnight broke into a car at his West Brady Street home and took a Motorola cell phone valued at $100.Thursday — Danielle Whitmire reported a car was entered overnight at her Pine Street home and a black checkbook-type wallet was stolen.

5:45 p.m. Thursday — Timothy Moreino, 53, of Butler was arrested at West Birch and Cunningham streets, stemming from a police investigation of crack cocaine trafficking in the city.Moreino, wanted on an arrest warrant, is accused of selling one-half gram of crack to a state police informant at a Butler convenience store in April.He was arraigned on charges of delivery and possession of a controlled substance, he is free after posting bail on $10,000 bond.11:04 a.m. Thursday — Pickup trucks driven by Kristen Quell, 23, of Butler and William Walker, 43, of Slippery Rock collided at Kiester and Harmony roads inSlippery Rock Township.Both drivers and a passenger in Walker's pickup, Bonnie Walker, 43, of Slippery Rock, all wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.Thursday — An unknown thief cut and stole coax wire at the Verizon Wireless property on Route 8 near Route 308 in Center Township. Police noted the theft caused about $10,000 in damage to cell phone wires that were being installed.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.

1:08 a.m. Sunday — Joshua Ian Altares, 31, of 127 Piela Lane, Zelienople, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police saw him operating his vehicle with continuos high beams on Evans City Road (Route 68).11:15 p.m. Saturday —- Steven Scott Laskowsky, 31, of Evans City Road, Zelienople, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Police saw the driver make a tire-skidding stop at the traffic light at Evans City Road and Lindsay Road.2:40 p.m. Sept. 15 —- Police said a vehicle driven by Robert W. Vidt'Elliott, 19, of 6570 Mars Road, Cranberry Township, was traveling on Hartmann Road, when it pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Elizabeth Snyder, 81, of Wampum, Pa. Neither driver nor the two passengers in Vidt'Elliott's vehicle were injured. Vidt'Elliott was cited for vehicles turning left improperly.1:53 a.m. Sept. 15 —- Richard Thomas Coburn, 46, of 107 Village Dr., Evans City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police saw his vehicle traveling partially on the shoulder of Evans City Road.6:14 p.m. Sept. 13 —- Kate M. Konyak of 324 Gudekunst Road reported someone broke into her residence through a front window and took a number of items including two antique end tables and lamps, jewelry and a DVD player.1:08 p.m. Sept. 12 —- Irene Breight of 260 Toll Gate Road reported someone broke into her residence while the family was on vacation through a side garage door and kicked in a door leading into the home. Several rooms were ransacked and searched according to police. A VCR/DVD player valued at $100 was reported taken.

Tuesday — Three rings were reported stolen from by Loren Henry, 86, a resident of Grove Manor Nursing Home. The rings were valued at $2,000.Sept. 21 to Saturday — Money and a gold watch were stolen from Paul Shopp's residence at 316 W. Poplar St. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Grove City Police at 724-458-7925.Sept. 21 — A charge of receiving stolen property is pending against a 16-year-old male after several stolen items were found in his room at his home. The items recovered were speakers and an amplifier worth about $650. The items were reported stolen Aug. 14 from a vehicle on Rebecca Avenue.Sept. 23 – Grove City Police are investigating the theft of two handguns stolen between Aug. 1 and Aug. 22. Owner Scott Terlinden, 39, of 431 Summit St., said the guns were taken from his house.
