James A. Lobaugh
James Arthur Lobaugh, 76, of Cantrell Street died at 5 p.m. Wedn-esday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Connoquenessing, Aug. 16, 1930, he was the son of John A. and Sara Miller Lobaugh.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and The Butler Business College.
Mr. Lobaugh served in the Air Force as a staff sergeant at Kessler Air Force Base, Miss., during the Korean War.
He retired from Armco-Butler Works on Aug. 31, 1992.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He also belonged to the American Legion Post 778 and the Moose Lodge 64 and was social member of the Sons of Italy Club.
He enjoyed traveling, and was a bingo caller in the Butler area for 40 years.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia J. Noblit Lobaugh, whom he married May 4, 1955; a son and his wife, Douglas J. and Theresa Lobaugh of Livingston, Mont; three grandchildren, Justin, David and Scott Lobaugh, all of Livingston; a sister, Phyllis Logan of Chambersburg; a niece, Nancy Haggerty of Washington, Pa., and two nephews, Mak rand Tom Logan, both of Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Lobaugh.
