Paulette M. Gray

Paulette M. Gray, 61, of 122 Whitestown Road, Lyndora, died Monday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler, June 28, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Margaret Torquato Biffaretti.

She was a nurse's aide for ABC Home Health Care for the past five years. She formerly worked at the Visiting Nurses Association.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She was an honorary member of the Lyndora Volunteer Fire Department and a volunteer for the Vietnam Vets bingo.

Surviving are a son, James W. Gray of Lyndora; a daughter, Ms. Renee Firsdon of Virgina; her companion, Steve Erkman Jr. of Lyndora; a brother, Lewis Biffaretti of Butler; and a sister, Mrs. Regis (Donna) Bopp of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Reed, who was killed in Vietnam in 1968.

<B>GRAY </B>— Friends of Paulette M. Gray, who died Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.The St. Michael Parish Bereavement Group will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
