Bob Robbins, R-50th, announced the introduction of legislation Wednesday that would give landowners an incentive to open their property for all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles and snowmobile riding.Under current law, landowners who open their properties for recreational use and do not charge a fee are not libel for accidents that occur to others while engaged in their recreational pursuits. That recreational use does not include all-terrain vehicles, motorcycles and snowmobile riding.The bill introduced by Robbins would amend the Recreational Use of Land and Water Act by clarifying that "recreational pursuits" includes motorized recreational vehicle riding.———The state Senate Tuesday passed legislation introduced by state Sen.
