Margaret D. Marshall
Margaret D. Emminger Marshall, 83, formerly of Butler and Chicora, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday at the Community Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
Born May 1, 1923, in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Joseph E. and Rosie M. Matthews Emminger.
She had been a substitute teacher, a teachers' aide and a secretary for the Southern Hancock School District in Greenfield, Ind., for seven years. She then worked at the Brooks Brothers Men's Clothing Store in Indianapolis for 3Z\ years until the store closed.
She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was a greeter at the church for several years.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Miller of Evansville, Ind., Diann Clift of Greenfield, Ind., and Cathy Proctor of Fairfield, Ind.; a son, Raymond T. Marshall of Wilkinson, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by two sisters, Mary Emminger and Joanne Thompson, both of Chicora, and several nieces and nephews.
A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
<B>MARSHALL </B>— Friends of Margaret D. Emminger Marshall, who died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating. Burial will be at the St. Patrick Church Cemetery, Sugarcreek Township.Memorial donations may be made to the Community Home Health Services Hospice, Program, 9894 E. 121st St., Fishers, IN 46037.
