Barbara J. Denniston
Barbara J. Denniston, 50, of Connoquenessing Main Street, Evans City, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Home after a long illness.
Born Aug. 15, 1956, in Allegheny County, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Ursula Breen Blanchard.
She was a 1974 graduate of Butler High School and was a receptionist at Bill's Grooming Service for years.
A lifelong resident of Butler, she enjoyed reading, camping, the outdoors, visiting with friend; and more than anything, she loved and enjoyed her only daughter, Christie.
She is survived by Christie M. Denniston Welling and her husband, Butch; a sister and her husband, Patricia and Richard Dicks of Erie; two brothers and their wives, John and Sherry Blanchard of Fombell and Paul and Crystal Blanchard of Erie; a sister-in-law, Patricia Blanchard of Bruin; many nieces and nephews; and two very special friends, Tim Gordon and Mark Kirk, whom she relied on for help, advice and friendship.
She was preceded in death by two older brothers, Lawerance and Jeffery Blanchard.
