Rolland A. "Bud" Murphey II, 53, of West Cunningham Street died at 6:15 p.m. Monday at his home.

Born May 4, 1953, in Butler, he was the son of David G. and Ruth H. Ihlenfeld Murphey, formerly of Butler, now living in Virginia Beach, Va.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1971, and he was an ironworker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Jacob Murphey, and a daughter, Marena Murphey, both of Virginia Beach, and a son, Shawn Murphey of Butler. He is also survived by his sisters, Carla Morrisette and her husband, Alan, and Mariann Goliff and her husband, Keith; his nephew, Adam Morrisette; and his niece, Janna Goliff, all of Virginia Beach.

<B>Murphey</B> — There will be no public visitation or service for Rolland A. "Bud" Murphey II, who died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.
