Richard E. Fogel
Richard E. Fogel, 57, of Carnegie, formerly of Zeli-enople, died Saturday at the Family Hospice Manor, Ross Township.
Born July 4, 1949, in Ellwood City, he was the son of Helen Ketterer Fogel of Fombell and the late Earl H. Fogel.
He was the longtime owner of the Greentree Gulf Station.
Mr. Fogel was an active member of the St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Scott Township, Allegheny County. He also was a member of Petroleum Retailers and Auto Repair Association, and the Mount Lebanon Rotary.
He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Pirates fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Georg Ann Gibson Fogel, and her children, LuAnn (Bill) Hartman of Virginia Beach, Va., and Randy A. (Kellie) Tomei of Renfrew; a sister, Charlotte E. (Florian) Gunkle of Phoenix; two brothers, Glenn W. (Carol Lee) Fogel of Beaver Falls and Ronald L. (Phyllis) Fogel of Fombell; and three grandchildren, Robert, BreAnn and Steven Hartman.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy H. Fogel, and Georg Ann's son, Louis A. Tomei.
