Dorothy Alice Weisensee

Dorothy Alice Weisensee, 90, of Virginia Beach, Va., formerly of Bruin, died Sunday evening at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, Va., after a brief illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 23, 1916, she was a daughter of Harry S. and Mary Fischer Kemege.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Kowalsky of Chesterland, Ohio, Mrs. Nancy A. Sports and her husband, Dennis, of Pace, Fla., and Mrs. Barbara J. Leach and her husband, Ben, of Virginia Beach; two sons, William Weisensee and his wife, Melody, of East Sandwich, Mass.; and Dr. James S. Weisensee and his wife, Bonnie, of Butler; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She also is survived by two sisters, Mary Jane Lekas and her husband, George, of Belleair Beach, Fla., and Mae Riesler of Lady Lake, Fla.

Her husband, William H. Weisensee, whom she married Oct. 29, 1938, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, died Oct. 7, 1995. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Kemege, who died May 18, 200l.

<B>WEISENSEE</B> — Friends of Dorothy Alice Weisensee, who died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Richard d. Hillis funeral home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Parker, with the Rev. Anthony Ditto officiating.Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
