With the golf season in full swing, the Eagle brings back its weekly golf pages Friday.

The pages will feature stories and results from PGA events, the illustrated golf tips feature Master Strokes and other items of interest to Butler County golfers.

Slippery Rock University indoor track and field standout Andi Rose was named a recipient of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Winter Top TenAward.Rose, a senior hurdler-sprinter, carries a 3.35 grade point average as a health and physical education major. She won the 55-meter hurdles title at the PSACmeet with a meet-record time of 8.15 seconds and placed second behind teammate Vera McDaniel in the 55-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
