Charles B. Cypher Jr.
Charles B. Cypher Jr., 74, of Butler died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh, July 20, 1932, he was the son of Charles B. and Stella Hollinbeck Cypher Sr.
He retired as an electrician at the Fuellgraf Electric Co. after 40 years and he belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 10 for 50 years.
Mr. Cypher was a member and an usher at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
An avid hunter, fisherman, and bowler, he loved spending weekends at his camp and belonged to the Happy Hunters Sportsmen's Club. He also was an antique car collector.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth J. Cranmer Cypher, to whom he was married for 54 years; two sons, Charles B. Cypher III of Evans City and William R Cypher of Butler; two daughters, Linda D. Cypher and Mrs. Steve (Elaine) Heasley, both of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Betty Scheibel of Gibsonia, Mrs. Jake (Dorothy) Brill of Verona and Mrs. Ruth Irvine of Saxonburg, and six grandchildren.

Cypher Jr., who died Thursday, April 20, 2007, will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Monday at the church.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
