Thomas Hughes

Thomas B. Hughes, 76, of Butler died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday at his home.

Born in Uniontown, Feb. 21, 1931, he was the son of Charles and Cecelia Hartle Hughes.

He was a graduate of St. John's High School in Uniontown.

Mr. Hughes retired in 1989 from customer service at the Corry Jamestown Manufacturing Co. in Corry, where he worked for 25 years.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and the Italian Society of Butler.

He was an avid golfer and bowler.

Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Patti Fagan Hughes; three daughters, Marci Nablo, Mrs. Terry (Christine) Cassioli and Susan Conley, all of Butler; and three grandchildren, Lauren and Thomas Cassioli and Alexander Conley, all of Butler.

He was preceded in death by twin brothers, Charles and John Hughes

<B>HUGHES </B>— Friends of Thomas B. Hughes, who died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at the St. Michael Cemetery.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
