Jack F. Bell

Jack F. Bell, 76, of Forestville, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, Mercer County.

Born in Forestville, Nov. 27, 1930, he was the son of Burton C. and Frances C. Rentz Bell.

He was a 1949 graduate of Harrisville High School and retired in 1992 as a core room worker at the former Cooper Energy plant in Grove City. He previously worked for U.S. Steel in Boyers and Ellwood City.

Mr. Bell was a Navy veteran.

He formerly attended the Forestville United Methodist Church and was an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman and enjoyed bike riding.

Surviving are a sister, Vona L. McCandless and her husband, Kenneth S., of Grove City; a brother, Donald H. Bell and his wife, Louise, of Harrisville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Hubenthal and Joan DeFranciscis; and a brother, William E. Bell.

<B>BELL </B>— There will be no visitation or service for Jack F. Bell, who died Friday, April 27, 2007. Burial will be at the Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.Memorial donations may be made to the Forestville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 102, Forestville, PA 16035.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, Harrisville.
