1:22 a.m. Saturday — Justin Kearns, 35, was arrested following a domestic dispute at his Bessemer Avenue home in Lyndora. Kearns is charged with simple assault.

Saturday — Six people were arrested for driving under the influence during a sobriety checkpoint operation by the county's DUI Task Force and state police.Officers also arrested one person for illegal possession of a gun, one on drug charges and one wanted on a bench warrant. Additionally, officers issued 14 traffic tickets and 138 warnings.

3:15 p.m. Tuesday — Anthony Joseph Schaffner, 39, of Butler was target shooting in Clay Township and accidentally shot a .32 caliber round into his toe. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.3 p.m. Tuesday — Gregory Mravintz, 53, of Valencia was charged with criminal mischief. Saxonburg Police accused him of damaging a patrol car window.1:20 a.m. Monday — Keith Whipkey, 48, of Boyers was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and HallRoad in Brady Township.1 a.m. Sunday — A 15-year-old boy was charged with criminal mischief after a window at a residence on Binsey Road in Clearfield Township was smashed with a rock.12:40 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Eric Double, no age given, of Chicora crashed and rolled onto its roof on Center Drive near Hohn Road in Oakland Township. Double was cited for several undisclosed traffic violations.4:55 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Candace Zorich, 20, of Sarver struck a guardrail on Bonniebrook Road near Herman Road in Summit Township. Zorich told police she lost control of the car when she swerved to avoid an animal on the road.2:15 a.m. Thursday — Erica White, 30, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence along Route 422 in Franklin Township.11:47 a.m. May 23 — David Altemara, 23, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Interstate 79 at the Route 422 exit ramp in Muddy Creek Township.3:55 p.m. May 21 — William Ley, 67, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 528 at the Moraine Bridge in Franklin Township.State Police, Clarion6:59 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Sebiastiano Pellizzer, 22, of Minnetonka, Minn., crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 80 in Allegheny Township, Butler County,Sunday — A cash register with about $30 in currency was stolen between 3 and 10:30 a.m. in a burglary at Doc's Tavern on Route 68 in Rimersburg, Clarion County.

6 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Vaughn Moss, 16, of Slippery Rock struck a utility pole along Plain Grove Road in Plain Grove Township, Lawrence County.
