Dale Yommer Jr.

Yommer

Dale Albert Yommer Jr., 24, of Eau Claire, formerly of Johnston Township, Ohio, died Sunday at the UPMC Horizon, Green-ville.

Born Sept. 30, 1982, in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of Dale A. Yommer Sr. and Janet S. Yunkman Frankland.

He was a 2001 graduate of Maplewood High School and currently was attending Butler County Community College, where he was majoring in business management.

Mr. Yommer was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Parker.

He had worked for Hunter's Truck Sales and Service in Eau Claire as a detailer for three years.

He enjoyed working out, playing basketball and golfing.

Surviving are his mother, Janet (Mark) Frankland of Howland, Ohio; his father, Dale (Christine) Yommer Sr. of Eau Claire; a sister, Chloe Yommer of Eau Claire; a brother, Josh Yommer of Howland; his paternal grandfather, Dale Yommer of Canton, Ga.; a stepsister, Emilee McPhillips of Queens, N.Y.; and six stepbrothers, Bobby Drnek of Fort Stewart, Ga., Tyler and Clayton Drnek, both of Eau Claire, Joe Frankland of Wooster, Ohio, and Dan and Eric Frankland, both of Howland.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Loretta Yunkman; and by his paternal grandmother, Vera Yommer.

<B>YOMMER</B> — Friends of Dale Albert Yommer Jr., who died Sunday, April 29, 2007, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel</B>, 164 N. High St., Cortland, Ohio. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greene Township, Ohio.Information also is available at www.shaferwinanschapel.com.
