Virginia Kelly, 88, of Slippery Rock died Monday at her daughter's home in Evans City.

Born Sept. 5, 1918, in Kiester, Slippery Rock Township, she was the daughter of Clair D. and Margaret Gardener Sankey.

Mrs. Kelly was a member of the Branchton Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, traveling and was an avid wrestling fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Ruth Ann Roberts of Evans City, Erma Jean Brown of West Virginia and Linda Smith of Grove City; a son, David E. Kelly of Slippery Rock; and two sisters, Helen Cookson and Lucille Puryear, both of Slippery Rock. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Burton Kelly; a son; a brother, and a sister.

<B>KELLY </B>— A memorial service for Virginia Kelly, who died Monday, April 30, 2007, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City, with the Rev. David Saylor officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gateway Hospice, 9380 McKnight Road, Suite 107, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.Arrangements are entrusted to <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, Evans City, and online condolences may be submitted at www.boylanfuneralhome.com.
