Audrey Anna Hepler of Butler died at 2:58 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Home.

She was born in Swissvale, the daughter of the late Islwyn Thomas Jones and D'Lauris Heyer Jones.

She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She also belonged to the Good Samaritan Order of the White Shrine No. 32 of Jerusalem, where she was a past worthy high priestess and a past watchman of the shepherds. She also belonged to the Farrell Court 120 Order of the Amaranth, where she was a past royal matron; the Zelienople Chapter 485 of Eastern Star, and the Order of Rainbow Girls Council of Butler.

Mrs. Hepler retired from the Butler School District, where she had worked in the library at the junior high school. She also volunteered at Butler Memorial Hospital, where she took baby pictures and crocheted baby hats for the nursery.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Barbara) Miller of Westland, Mich.; two grandchildren, Mrs. James (Shelly Lynn) Rapa of Clinton, Mich., and Robert Bruce Miller of Westland; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Victor Rapa, both of Clinton; a brother, the Rev. Franklin Jones of Grayson, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Hepler, who died June 30, 1980, and a sister, D'Lauris Rickard.

<B>HEPLER</B> — A memorial service for Audrey Anna Hepler, who died Monday, May 7, 2007, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., with the Rev. Bruce Geary officiating.Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>; and information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
