Robert and L. Juanita Schmeider

Robert and Lois Juanita Schmeider of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

Schmeider married the former L. Juanita Thompson June 2, 1947, at the former Alliance Church in Butler.

They have five children, Robert Schmeider of Naples, Fla.; Thomas Schmeider and Jane Hodak, both of Butler; Paul Schmeider of Slippery Rock and David Schmeider of Center Township.

They also have 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Schmeider is retired from Pullman Standard, where he was employed as a draftsman.

Mrs. Schmeider is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Trinity Lutheran Church in Center Township.
