We held our third annual bike blessing and memorial ride on May 26. The event was a time of bringing people together to remember Britany Michelle Maycock, and to celebrate her life. It also was a time to raise money for a $1,000 scholarship in memory of Britany.

It was a success again this year as we had hoped it would be.

A scholarship is awarded to a senior at Lenape Vocational-Technical School annually in the amount of $1,000 in remembrance of Britany. The award is presented to a deserving senior at an awards ceremony held by Lenape.

This year the awards ceremony was held on May 18.

With people's continued support, we will be able to offer the scholarship annually for many years to come. We are blessed to be surrounded by such caring and giving people.
