Florence M. LeRoy
Florence M. LeRoy, 91, of Allison Park, formerly of New Haven Court in Butler, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at UPMC Passavant.
Born Nov. 28, 1915, in McDonald, she was the daughter of Jules C. and Agnes Amanda Schreiber LeRoy.
She had a 45-year career with Bell Telephone, progressing to a telephone supervisor. During her tenure, she received the Distinguished Service Award for her loyalty and dedication.
She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, listening to music and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Robert M. (Virgina L.) Maust-Thompson of Butler; a brother, Robert V. LeRoy of Wilmington, N.C.; three nieces, Marilyn "Missy" Maust of Columbia, S.C., Judy Selwocki of Michigan and Anna Marie LeRoy of N.Y.; and seven nephews, Keith Maust of Matthews, N.C., Allan B. Maust of Columbus, Ohio, Jason B. Maust of Butler, Eric LeRoy of West Virgina, Kyle LeRoy of Wilmington, N.C., Keith LeRoy of Wilmington, N.C., and Robert LeRoy of New York.
Preceding her in death were her stepmother, Rhoda Leroy Strickler, and a brother, Jules F. Leroy.
<B>Leroy — </B>Friends of Florence M. LeRoy, who died Monday, May 14, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, Butler. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Swanson of Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating.
