John E. Bresnehan
John Eric "John John" Bresnehan, 43, of Butler died Wednesday at University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago after a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1963, in Butler, he was the son of John Merle and Joan M. Weiland Bresnehan.
He worked for Butler County as a maintenance supervisor of the facility and operations department.
He was a 1981 graduate of Karns City High School and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in West Sunbury.
Mr. Bresnehan was also a member of Chicora Moose Lodge 962.
He loved spending time with his family, working in his garden, playing softball, golfing, hunting, fishing, singing, playing cards and other sports.
Surviving are his wife of eight years, Carrie Anne Bresnehan, whom he married June 27, 1998; a daughter, Madison Louise; a son, Caleb John; four brothers, Gale Bresnehan of Norristown, Steve Bresnehan of Butler, Richard Bresnehan of Chicora and Dennis Bresnehan of Fenelton; a sister, Theresa Bresnehan Benedetto of Sharon; and many nieces and nephews.
