Catharine J. "Kit" Kirk
Catharine J. "Kit" Kirk, 81, of Moultrie, Ga., formerly of Butler, died Thursday at the Woodlands Living Center in Moultrie.
Born March 23, 1926, in Butler, she was the daughter of Eleanor Frances Marsh and William Cleveland Jahnig.
She was a homemaker, community volunteer and an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Moultrie and its choir.
She was also a member of the Moultrie Service League, the Federated Guild and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed golf and bridge.
Surviving are her son, J. Warren Kirk and his wife, Barbara, of Lake Park, Ga.; two daughters, Marsha K. Moore and her husband, Tom, of Rockhill, S.C., and Melissa K. Trammell and her husband, Wayne, of Moultrie; a brother, Dr. Paul Jahnig and his wife, Nancy, of Fort Myers, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Charlie and Kirk Moore; Christopher Trammel; Andy Horne and his wife, Dana; and Mitchell, Beth and Michael Kirk.
<B>KIRK — </B>A memorial service for Catharine J. "Kit" Kirk, who died Thursday, May 17, 2007, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Moultrie with visitation following. A committal service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Bird officiating.Arrangements are by <B>harrell-faircoth funeral home</B>, 2929 S.
