Keep end-the-war stance

Hillary Clinton said a few months ago that, if elected, she would stop the war in Iraq.

Now she has softened, if not backtracked on, that position.

I'm 72 years old and voted straight Republican for 52 years. I heard what Clinton had to say and believed her.

I changed my political party registration to Democrat and was supporting her. Now she is scaring me that she is backing away from her end-the-war stance.

It is my hope that she will be herself and not listen to her handlers. She is good enough without their help.

They are going to lose the election for her.

As of now, I'm rethinking my position about her. I'm asking that she not let us down.

The pro-war people don't know what it's like to hear 20-year-olds screaming for their mothers prior to dying as a result of wounds.

I can't understand mothers who are eager to put their sons and grandchildren through that.

I hope Clinton gets back to her end-the-war stance in order to continue to get the support from the strata in which I live.
