Frank T. Appleton
Frank T. Appleton, 67, of East Brady, formerly of Valencia, died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 4, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Frank and Stella Zimantis Appleton.
He enjoyed working with wood and rebuilding automobiles. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mr. Appleton was a graduate of Mars High School and was a shipper at Woodings Industry, Mars, for more than 40 years.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann McNany Appleton, whom he married Dec. 7, 1979; a son, Mike Thornton and his wife, Lisa, of Brady Township, Clarion County; and five grandchildren, Ricky, Brittany, Brianna, Mike and Katlyn of Brady Township. He also is survived by cousins, John and Alice Buzzy of Pittsburgh; three nephews; two nieces; two great-nephews, and a great-niece.
<B>Appleton </B>— There will be no visitation. A memorial service for Frank T. Appleton, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, will be held at 11 a.m. June 9 at the East Brady Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Pesci officiating.Arrangements are by the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, East Brady.
