Chester B. Riddell, 54, of Evans City died Monday morning at the Good Samaritan House in Wexford.

Born Nov. 5, 1952, in Spangler, Cambria County, he was the son of Dea and Buelah Nagle Riddell.

He was a Protestant and worked as a laborer.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his companion, D. Charlotte Downing; three brothers, Bernard Riddell of Butler, Russell Riddell of Ocoee, Fla., and Carl Riddell of Erie; seven sisters, Mrs. Edward (Rosella) Keith of Ocoee, Fla., Shirley Detwiler of Northern Cambria, Mrs. Paul (Alice) Keith of Marsteller, Mrs. Frank (Ruby) Detwiler of Evans City, Sandra Tacoronte of Youngstown, Ohio, Linda Garcia of Youngstown, Ohio, and Mrs. Alvin (Jessie) Keith of Ocoee, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
