Julia Clark, 96, of Butler died Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Dec. 3, 1910, in Butler, she was a daughter of Tom and Catherine McGary.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, the Women's Council of St. Peter and a life member of the Oneida Valley Volunteer Fire Department.

Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and loved flowers, gardening and baking.

Surviving are a son, Daniel R. Clark of Butler; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ostwinch, Mrs. Harry (Julia) Howryla and Mrs. Larry (Grace) Young, all of Butler; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Clark, who died, May 3, 1980. She also was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.

<B>Clark </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Julia Clark, who died Wednesday, May 30, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan, officiating Burial will follow at the St. Peter Parish Cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peter will meet at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
