William Strunk Jr.

Strunk

William F. "Bill" Strunk Jr., 57, of Naches, Wash., died Monday at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Wash.

Born Oct. 27, 1949, in Tarentum, he was raised in Saxonburg and was a 1967 graduate of Knoch High School.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and was a truck driver for the past 13½ years for Quality Transportation.

Mr. Strunk was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Strunk, to whom he was married for 16 years; his father Frank Strunk of Yakima; his mother, Gerri Walters of Yakima; four sons, William Strunk of Pineville, Ky., John Strunk of Bellingham, Mass., Huey Rogers of North Ogden, Utah, and Jim Cornish of Middlesborough,Ky.; two daughters, April Strunk of Milford, Mass., and Randi Sexton of Yakima; 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are his brothers, Bob Strunk of Chesapeake, Va., Dick Strunk of Yakima and Don Strunk of Springfield, Ore.; and a sister, Jean Strunk Parke of Poulsbo, Wash.

<B>STRUNK </B>— Funeral services for William F. "Bill" Strunk Jr., who died Monday, May 28, 2007, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Yakima Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home</B>, Yakima, Wash.Condolences may be submitted at www.valleyhillsfh.com.
