Marianne M. Kelly, 78, of Boyers died at 4:32 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Northwest Seneca after a long illness.

Born in Mainz, Germany, she was the daughter of Rudy and Margaret Sauzapf.

She was educated in Germany.

Mrs. Kelly was involved with the Meals on Meals in northern Butler County. She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and gardening.

She was an active member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Murrinsville.

Surviving are a daughter, Denise A. Kelly of Boyers; a grandson-Michael J. Kelly and his wife, Joanne M. Kelly, of Hilliards; a great-grandson, John W. Campbell and a great-granddaughter, Trinity N. Kelly. She also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Josephine Galla of Oil City and Pauline Errera and her husband, John, of Kent Ohio; three brothers-in-law, Burdette Kelly and his wife, Wanetta, of Harrisville, Keith Kelly and his wife, Becky, of Emlenton and Stephen Kelly and his wife, Peggy, of Kennerdell; a sister, Tonia Rosar and her husband, Heinz, of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, James B. Kelly, whom she married March 21, 1956, died Jan. 6, 2007. She also was preceded in death by three sisters-in-law, Sarah Van Tassel, Joanie Kelly and Colena Robinson Mitchell; two brothers-in- law, Herbert and Francis Kelly; and a brother, Rudy Sauzapf.

<B>KELLY</B> — Friend of Marianne M. Kelly, who died Sunday, June 3, 2007, will be receive from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Murrinsville, with the Rev. Richard Thompson officiating. Burial will be at the Epiphany Cemetery, Marion Township.A prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
