Richard G. Adams

Richard G. Adams, 90, of Sharon Drive died at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Concordia Lutheran Care, Cabot.

Born Jan. 9, 1917, in Portersville, he was the son of Samuel M. Adams and Sarah Shields.

He had been a purchasing agent at Hoffman Auto Parts and retired in 1986 after 45 years.

Mr. Adams was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the MORA Club.

Surviving are two sons, Richard W. and Uber S. Adams, both of Sarver; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Eakin Adams, who died July 24, 1990, and by a brother.

<B>ADAMS </B>— Friends of Richard G. Adams, who died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Molnar, pastor of the Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiating.
