Beulah E. Byers
Beulah E. Byers, 92, of West Sunbury died at 2 p.m. Saturday at her home.
Born June 4, 1915, in Center Township, she was the daughter of William David and Edith Hutchison Miller.
She was a member of the Rider Lutheran Church and had attended the Community Alliance Church.
Mrs. Byers enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and playing canasta and free cell.
She had been the head cook for Camp Lutherlyn for 17 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Edith B. Byers of West Sunbury and Mrs. Gerald (Glenda) O'Donnell of Portersville and of West Sunbury; two sons, Dwight R. and Richard M. Byers, both of Butler; a granddaughter, whom she raised, Mrs. Gregory (Debra Byers) Krelow of Renfrew; nine addition grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A sister, Irene Stamm of Butler, also survives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Miller Byers, who died July 7, 1991; two sisters, and three brothers.
<B>BYERS </B>— Friends of Beulah E. Byers, who died Saturday, June 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
