Waneda R. Lutz, 79, of Ellwood City, formerly of Zelienople, died Saturday at her daughter's home in New Sewic-kley Township, Beaver County.

Born Dec. 5, 1927, in Harmony, she was the daughter of Nick and Edna Harter English.

Mrs. Lutz was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Ellwood City. She was a former member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople and the Zelienople American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She was an avid bingo player, gardener and enjoyed assembling jig-saw puzzles.

She is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Lyle and her husband, Tommy, of Andersonville, Tenn., Karen Reynolds and her fiancé, Joseph Druzisky, of Boardman, Ohio, and Rebekah Yeck and her husband, Dave, of New Sewickley Township; two brothers, James English of Evans City and Russell English of Florida; and two sisters, Phyllis Erdner of Elkton, Md. and Dolores Eckstein of Oakmont. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Hunch" Lutz, who died July 31, 2001; and a son, Richard Allen Lutz, who died, May 13, 2004.

<B>LUTZ</B> — Friends of Waneda R. Lutz, who died Saturday, June 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Andrew Shaffer, officiating.
