Weinzierl

Gary R. Weinzierl, 69, of Evergreen Drive, Lyndora, died at 9:19 a.m. Sunday at his home.

Born Sept. 12, 1937, in Butler, he was the son of the late Edward Weinzierl and the late Viola Neithercoat.

Mr. Weinzierl was an automobile salesman at Linn's Motors.

He was a member of the Penn Township Baseball Association and was a fan of NASCAR racing, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, pug dogs and golf.

Surviving are his children and their spouses, Gary Scott and Valarie Weinzierl of Seven Fields, Sheri Lynn and Philip Hixon of Renfrew and Kimberly Joy and Eugene Hixon and Leslie Shan and Mark Anderson, all of Butler; three stepsons, John, Jeremy and Benjamin Whittington, all of Butler; four grandsons, Donald E. II, Philip J. II and Justin E. Hixon and Douglas G. Anderson; seven grand-daughters, Alicia Lynn Norman, Sarah E. Anderson, Kristen J. Hixon, Melissa S. Anderson, Amber and Breanna R. Weinzierl and Rachel K. Hixon; two step-granddaughters, Christina Freeman and Abigail Whittington; a stepgrandson, Ethan Whittington; four great-grandsons, Jakob and Jonathan Norman and Trey and Issac Hixon; and three great-granddaughters, Gabriella E. Norman and Leta and Elizabeth Hixon. Two nephews also survive.

A sister, Carol Ann Wiley, preceded him in death.

<B>HIXON </B>— Friends Gary R. Weinzierl, who died Sunday, June 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Pascoe of Albert Gallatin Home Care and Hospice, officiating.
