Don L. Lindsay

Don L. Lindsay, 72, of Valencia died at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday at the St. John Specialty Care Center, Mars.

Born Oct. 7, 1934, in Allegheny County, he was the son of Howard and Grace Smith Lindsay.

He was a Protestant.

He had owned and operated Lindsay's Mobil in Hampton Township and then was a manager at Butler Consumer, which became Northwest Savings Bank.

Surviving are his wife, Betty L. Watenpool Lindsay, whom he married Dec. 4, 1952; three daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Susan) Sahli and Mrs. Vince (Sally) DiLembo, both of Valencia, and Mrs. John (Bonnie) Harigan of Ohio; a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Margie Lindsay of Butler; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a sister, Mrs. William (Dorothy) DeRose of Valencia; and a brother, David Lindsay of Coraopolis.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Zillweger.
