Virginia G. Weber
Virginia G. Stockhausen Walter Weber, 85, of Murrysville, formerly of Valencia, died Monday at the Whispering Acres Personal Care Home, Chicora.
Born in Pittsburgh, April, 28, 1922, she was the daughter of Ferdinand Stockhausen and Bertha Deer Stockhausen Scholl.
She was a longtime member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church. For for the past 18 years, she attended the Presbyterian Church in Murrysville.
Mrs. Weber was an active gardener and was a member of the Mars and Murrysville garden clubs. She served as president of the Women's Club of Mars. She sang in the choir and was an artist who enjoyed painting, drawing and crocheting.
She had worked at Allis Chalmers during World War II and later worked in the payroll department at Treesdale Farms. She retired as an executive secretary at Herr Voss in Callery.
Surviving are two sons, Harley G. Walter and Edward Walter (Becky), both of Sarver; two daughters, Mrs. Allen (Sharon) Gatz of Butler and Gail Walter of Florida; a sister, Bertha May Haffling of California; and a sister-in-law, Harriet Walter and a brother-in-law, Andy Walter, both of Valencia. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 42 years, Harley C. Walter, who died July 5, 1985; her second husband of 18 years, Harry "Bud" Weber, who died Nov. 22, 2006; a son, Dean R. Walter; and a brother, Louis Stockhausen.

Stockhausen Walter Weber, who died Monday, July 9, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
