Lois E. Hillwig, 62, of Hereford, Texas, formerly of East Brady, died Friday at the BSA Hospice, Amarillo, Texas.

Born May 27, 1945, in Fairview Township, she was the daughter of the late Marion E. and Iris E. Grazier Leeger.

She enjoyed bingo, reading, computers and time with her grandchildren,

Mrs. Hillwig attended Karns City High School and worked at Holly Sugar in Hereford for seven years and was a secretary at Walco in Hereford for 14 years.

She was an active participant in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

Surviving are her husband, James L. "Jumbo" Hillwig; a son, James L. Hillwig of Hereford; a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Laura) Patsy of Bradys Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Ronald (Barbara) McGinnis of Karns City and Ida Oesterling of Butler; a brother, David Leeger of Petrolia; and three grandchildren, Bradly Patsy and his wife, Dawn, of Cowansville, Tiffany Lybarger and her husband, Michael, of Indiana, Pa., and Kaiden Hillwig of Amarillo. Also surviving are a niece and four nephews.

<B>HILLWIG </B>— Friends of Lois E. Hillwig, who died Friday, July 13, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral HomE</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul DeBacco, pastor of the Criswell Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Private burial will be at the Bradys Bend Cemetery.
