Mary Rutkowski

Mary G. Uffelman Rutkowski, 85, of Daytona Beach, Fla., formerly of Gibsonia, died Saturday.

Born Oct. 11, 1921, in McDonald, she was the daughter of Peter and Anna Johnen Uffelman.

She was raised on the Bakerstown Poultry Farm in Valencia and eventually became part owner.

Mrs. Rutkowski loved to travel and play cards. Above all, she loved to give smiles and hugs to all of her friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, George Bortle of Daytona Beach; four children, Donna and Nelson T. Warner, both of Butler, James (Kathy) Warner of Haines, Ark., and Stanley (Pat) Rutkowski of Bakerstown; a stepchild George (Cindy) Bortle of Titusville, Fla; a brother, Harold (Marcella) of California; and a brother-in-law, George Mihalyi. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Nelson Warner and Stanley Rutkowski; a son, Robert Rutkowski; and a sister, Grace Mihalyi.

<B>RUTKOWSKI </B>— Friends of Mary G. Uffelman Rutkowski, who died Saturday, July 14, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, Glade Mills, with the Rev. Daniel Maurer, as celebrant. Burial will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.The rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.Please submit a personal tribute to www.schellhaasfh.com.
