Richard B. Wagner, 74, of Butler died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at his home.

Born June 30, 1933, in Karns City, he was the son of Harry Blaine Wagner and Bertha McElravy Wagner.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Butler Country Club as a custodian.

Mr. Wagner had coached Little League for many years and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Surviving are his wife, Leona R. Stevenson Wagner, whom he married April 22, 1957; three daughters, Mrs. Brian (Robyn) Collins and Mrs. Donny (Camey) Doctor, both of Butler and Nancy Wagner of Parker; six sons, Richard B. Wagner Jr. of Las Vegas, and Jack D., David M., Vernon H., William G. and Corey L. Wagner, all of Butler; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Jane Flick and Bonnie Aites, both of Butler; and a brother, James S. Wagner of Carlisle.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, four sisters and two brothers.

<B>WAGNER </B>— Friends of Richard B. Wagner, who died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., where services will follow at 6 p.m. with Virginia DiTullio officiating. Burial, with military honors by the Chicora VFW Post, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Kepples Corner.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Area Baseball Association, 100 Grant St., Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
