Elizabeth M. "Betty" Reedy, 85, of Evans City died Thursday at St. John's Specialty Care Center, Mars.

Born Feb. 14, 1922, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Richard and Bessie (Stiffey) Parsons.

Mrs. Reedy enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling.

She was a member of the Evans City Senior Center and a card club. She was an avid Steeler and NASCAR fan.

She is survived by a son, Donald T. (Marsha) Reedy and a daughter, Diana (Thomas "Roy") Elford, both of Evans City; a sister, Shirley Shisler of Evans City; a grandson, Brian Elford; a great-granddaughter, Gracie Elford; three step- grandchildren, Cheryl, Christi and Colleen, and four step-great-grandchildren, Gary Jr., Alyssa, Troy and James.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" Reedy who died Jan. 15, 1989; two brothers, Red and Dick Parsons, and three sisters, Cecile Huffnagel, Jean Eberle and Isabel Foster.

<B>REEDY</B> — Friends of Elizabeth M. "Betty" Reedy, who died on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David R. Saylor, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City, officiating.
