Alfred A. Pelliccione
Alfred A. Pelliccione, 91, of Butler died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Butler, Nov. 11, 1916, he was the son of Vincent and Rose Bruny Pelliccione.
He retired in 1978 from Armco-Butler Works after more than 35 years.
Mr. Pelliccione was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the Italian Society of Butler.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Roseann) Chiodo of Colonial Heights, Va., Donna Nelson of Monroeville, Mrs. James G. (Marilyn) Hollock of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Gregory (Marie) Brown of Butler; two brothers Raymond and Vincent Pelliccione, both of Butler; 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Macefe Pelliccione, who died Sept. 7, 2003; a brother, and three sisters.
<B>PELLICCIONE</B> — Friends of Alfred A. Pelliccione, who died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Entombment will be at the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael Parish will hold a scriptural wake service at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
